The Mustang some would like to forget
A 1976 Ford Mustang Cobra II on display at a annual car show at a local car dealership in Waterloo, Iowa where all the money raised goes to a charity. The Mustang II was a car created in response to the first oil crises in 1973. Many were not happy with the new design but Ford improved it over the years before replacing it with a new model in 1979.

The Last Convertible on Memorial Day
A member of the Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors rides in the Waterloo, Iowa Memorial Day parade.
The car he is riding in is a 1975 or 1976 Cadillac ElDorado. Cadillac discontinued convertibles after the 1976 model year and it was billed as the end of convertible cars, no more would be made. The death announcement was a little premature because in 1984 the ElDorado convertible returned and it was not the first. Just because something goes away doesn't mean it won't come back!
